Student of the Year 2 is an upcoming Indian romantic comedy drama dance film directed by Punit Malhotra. Produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions, the film will be distributed by Fox Star Studios. The film stars Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday and is the film debut of both the actresses. It is set to release on 10 May 2019. The film is the sequel to Student of the Year (2012). Filming started on 9 April 2018 in Dehradun.

The film is the sequel to Student of the Year (2012).[11] Filming started on 9 April 2018 in Dehradun.[12]
Release
The first look of the film was shown on November 20, 2017 by Karan Johar on the official page of Dharma Productions.
The release date was changed from 23 November 2018 to 10 May 2019.[13]
